With gratitude and excitement, here is our beautiful new website designed and built (without AI) by Bryn Fenemor (front-end/UX) and Toby Edgar (back-end/development), it’s crisp and functional, helping find shows and places to find yourself at too. Along with the new website, we have a new identity - designed by none other than Sonya Ishimnikova. Like a snake sheds it’s skin, this is the dermas that will hold Mouthfull for the next cycle.
To move forwards, we must also look back and appreciate where we have come from. Footsteps in the sand can disappear quickly in a high tide. The earliest ‘logo’ design was conceptualised by Nicole Streeter in 2017, a vector that may have shifted but originated from the tips of her fingertips on the laptop. A secondary design by Jack Gittings accompanied this logo as an introduction to the ‘Living as a Story Thing’ short films, and this duo would continue to live on the Mouthfull masquerade for 2 years. Following that, our friend, Judy Rhum generously conjured a playful new charming smile logo that brought Mouthfull into a new era… the radio era. This logo has been well traveled on posters, stickers. slipmats, and so much more.
And now, today, we are so lucky to bring in the time of the garden, where flowers grow and rich soils allow the fruit trees to flourish (with the janky-ness and humility, of course).
We love all our logos equally, and will let them rest in a cosy place to come back to to remember the wonderful journey.
