Welcome back, and welcome beyond,
Mouthfull.live is a digital address for an independent non-profit arts organisation and radio station called Mouthfull. In the afternoon summer sunshine of 2016/17, beared magma, simmering beneath dreams within the streets, under the maunga of Pukeahu. The soils there we’re softly treaded, threading webs of connection from person to person; using art, music, writing, and moving images to tether them strongly. From there Mouthfull was the orchid that rose through the cracks, a vessel to carry a space for film, play, and creating commonspaces for illuminating art to be felt.
From then, there's been a gentle inquiry into space; what it means, how to occupy it, how to share voices within it and inviting each other towards space where kindness & curiousity, active listening & activism, arts making & authenticity all help us make a beautiful world together. In 2018, Mouthfull, with the help of Urban Dream Brokerage moved into a physical space on Clyde Quay Wharf in Te Aro, Pōneke. This was the beginning of the space era, offering 2 months comprised of film screenings, yoga, exhibitions, and live acoustic concerts. As the space era d,
